How it actually goes.

Every renovation ends with a pile. Pulled-up carpet and flooring, drywall offcuts, the old vanity, broken tile, packaging from every fixture that went in, and a stack of contractor bags in the corner. It is the part of the job nobody quoted for, and it sits there until somebody hauls it.

The room at the top of this page is exactly that: a basement with the studwork still open and the bags and boxes piled on the bare slab. We load it off the floor and take it to the transfer station, and the room is ready for the next trade.
